Who We Are

Our Mission & Vision

We exist to unify, empower, and advocate for the residents and businesses of the Liberty Road Corridor in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Our Mission

The Liberty Road Community Council, Inc. (LRCC), a 501C3 made up of an all volunteer board, has been the umbrella organization for many communities along the Liberty Road Corridor and beyond in Baltimore County since it's founding in 1958.The purpose of LRCC is to provide a mechanism to enable residents to define concerns and plan problem solving strategies for the betterment of the communities. LRCC encourages and provides better communication and information between community groups. It works to eliminate prejudice and discrimination by working together to foster a better understanding of people. LRCC also provides a public forum for community groups so they may be able to more effectively address area wide issues.

Our Vision

We envision a thriving Liberty Road Corridor where neighbors know each other, businesses prosper, streets are safe, and every resident has an equal stake in the future of their community.

Our goal is a corridor where engagement is the norm, where community decisions reflect the will of the people, and where future generations are proud to call Liberty Road home.

Our Story

Rooted in Community

The Liberty Road Community Council was founded by a group of passionate residents who believed that organized community engagement was the key to a better neighborhood. What started as small neighborhood meetings grew into a powerful civic organization.

Today, LRCC represents dozens of civic organizations, homeowner associations, and individual members across the Liberty Road Corridor — stretching from Windsor Mill to Randallstown in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Meetings held monthly — 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 PM
Open to all residents — individual and organizational membership available
Advocacy-first approach — working directly with elected officials and agencies
Nonprofit organization — 100% community-driven and volunteer-led
